A comprehensive data set focused on the health status of older adults was recently released for Maine. This includes 265 community profiles for cities and towns, which encompass over 150 detailed population characteristics and information such as community engagement, access to care, wellness and prevention, nutrition/diet, mental health, chronic disease, living with disability, and safety. The data makes it possible to compare a town or city to the rest of the state by indicator.
These are some statewide findings from the data.
