The Center for the Advancement of Rural Living (CARL) has created a toolkit to help simplify the MaineCare Long Term Care application process, including services like nursing home and in-home care. A key feature is a checklist to organize required documents such as identification, financial statements, and asset records. While applications should be submitted only when needed, preparing these materials in advance is wise.
