Housing Meetings

Housing is a critical issue in the State of Maine and throughout our nation. In 2023, we worked with our partners to develop two one-day housing conference. The first was held virtually on March 15. Their was so much discussion generated that day that we hosted a second housing conference--this one in-person in Orono at the Wells Conference Center on October 16. 

Below are highlights from each of the sessions, including handouts and presentations, when available. We have also included a link to examples of community approaches that are included on our "Housing Domain" page. Our hope is that you will find resources and inspiration as you advocate for housing options in your community and develop programs and services to help residents thrive in their homes.
